Ryze Champion Guide
Overview
- •P increases max mana by 10%. Skills deal bonus Magic Damage based on bonus mana.
- •Due to Ryze's kit, this is explained in E, W, Q order.
- •E fires a Projectile, dealing Magic Damage. Applies Mark to the target and Chains to nearby targets (Mark only). If the target is already Marked, it Chains again to nearby targets (repeats).
- •W is Targeted Non-projectile.
Applies Slow and Magic Damage.
If the target is Marked, Mark Consumes to apply Root instead of Slow.
i.e. E into W
- •Q's Passive Bonus is that
W and E
CDR Q and grant a Rune Buff Stack. Max 2 stacks.
Using Q (even without hitting) Stack Consumes all Runes.
Consuming 2 at once grants MS ↑.
Consuming just 1 has no effect.
- •Q fires a Projectile, dealing Magic Damage. If the target has E's Mark, it Mark Consumes for 50% bonus Magic Damage. Chains repeatedly to nearby Marked targets. i.e. E into Q
- •R's Passive Bonus is that it increases E-into-Q Magic Damage.
- •R creates Zone B at the chosen location. It also automatically creates Zone A under Ryze at the same time. After a short delay, Ryze and allies standing on Zone A briefly vanish from the map and become Untargetable, and all teleport to Zone B.
TMI
- •Landing Spell Flux then WF is absurdly strong.
- •R gets Cast Cancelled if Ryze is hit by CC (immobilize, disable) during the cast. Allies can still travel even if they're CC'd, as long as Ryze himself isn't. Pressing Recall while standing on R's Zone excludes only that user from the teleport (including Ryze). R still works normally even if Ryze presses Recall. While vanishing and traveling via R, units count as Invulnerable. This can negate all sources of damage, including tower shots. When teleporting with allied minions or pets to an enemy tower via R, tower aggro is drawn to the minions/pets first.
